Super Mario Maker is going to include a lot of useful tools that will allow players to create a lot of different stages. Some players, however, might end up going a bit too far without realizing it, placing platforms and other elements in ways that cannot be reached by any jump. Thankfully the game will include a very useful tool that will help players place platforms in the right way.
This tool, which will show an afterimage of Mario when testing stages, has been showcased by a new short trailer made available by Nintendo earlier today. You can learn more about this tool and how it can be used by checking the video right below.
In the past few days we have seen plenty of Super Mario Maker screenshots and footage but not all of the game’s content has been shown. A new screenshot which has been shared on Miiverse this past weekend showcased one of the costumes that had yet to be shown, the Duck Hunt costume. This costume can be unlocked by using the Duck Hunt amiibo or by playing the game. Another costume that had yet to be shown, the Olimar costume, has also been showcased by a screenshot released a week ago.
Other Super Mario Maker gameplay videos have surfaced online in the past few days. These videos showcased the different scrolling speeds that can be set, the adjustable time limits and the Question Mark block, which can be used in ways never seen before in other entries of the series.
