The Fallout series has managed to become one of the more successful role playing game series ever in recent times with the release of the third entry and its spin-off game Fallout New Vegas. These two games are the first games of the series to be in 3D and thus play quite differently from the first two entries, which were 2D isometric role-playing games. Fallout 4 is obviously not going to be much different in style from the more recent games but a fan of the series has created two beautiful images that show how the new game from Bethesda would look like as a 2D isometric game.
The two images have been created by Chris Bischoff, creator of the point and click adventure game STASIS. As his game has been heavily influenced by the Fallout series, Mr. Bischoff has created these two images as a tribute. You can find the images right below.
Fallout 4 is one of the more anticipated games of the year and several retailers are offering special Fallout 4 editions and bundles which include extra goodies not found in the regular edition of the game. Among them is the Amazon UK bundle which includes a copy of the game, the History of Fallout book and a soundtrack CD including music from the game. Several other Fallout 4 bundles are also available in all regions.
Fallout 4 has been in development for quite some time but it’s only been revealed earlier this year right before the E3. Two months ago marketing executive Pete Hines has confirmed that development was basically done and that the team was focused on polishing and bug fixing, making it impossible to implement any fan requested feature not already included in the game.
Fallout 4 will be released in around two months on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More news on the game will surely be coming soon so stay tuned for all the latest news on Bethesda’s next big role-playing game.
