Batman Arkham Knight has recently received a new update on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, introducing compatibility for the rest of this month’s DLC packs and the Big Head mode. Another Batman Arkham Knight update is going to be released next month and one of the features it will introduce to the game has been revealed.
The Batman Arkham Knight October update is going to add a difficulty selection for all Combat and Batmobile maps. The hard version of these challenges, which feature no counter icons, faster enemies and increased rewards, can currently only be accessed by playing them in New Game Plus + mode. Following the update, players will be able to play challenges in their harder form by selecting it before starting the challenge, as confirmed a few hours ago by the team.
Batman Arkham Knight is also going to receive more DLC packs next month, including a new story campaign starring Catwoman and more. The first of these new DLC packs has been revealed earlier this month, the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2. Included in this DLC pack are new Combat Maps for Batman, Catwoman and Nightwing as well as new Predator maps for Batman and Robin called Uncontainable and Sky High, and a new Batmobile challenge map called Armored Assault.
The first Batman Arkham Knight Crime Fighter Challenge Pack comes with a bug which allows players to explore a part of Gotham City with Robin. There isn’t much to do once outside the challenge map area, but it’s definitely interesting to free roam the city as characters other than Batman.
Batman Arkham Knight is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We will keep you updated on the game’s upcoming patches and DLC packs as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on the open world game developed by Rocksteady.
