Among the many games releasing before the end of the year is one interesting Japanese role playing game called The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel. The game is one of the latest entries of The Legend Of Heroes series developed by Falcom and Western fans have been pretty excited for it since its confirmation for the West, as they have been waiting for quite some time to be able to play another entry in a language they can understand. A final release date for the game has yet to be confirmed and today some new details on the matter have emerged online.
Several online retailers are currently listing The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel with a November 17th release date. According to XSEED Localization Specialist Thomas Lipshultz, the game won’t be released on that day, as the November 17th date is just a placeholder. In the past few days, some retailers have started listing The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel with a 2016 release date, making players fear that the game has been delayed. According to Mr. Lipshultz, the game is still on track for a 2015 release so no delay has been confirmed so far.
The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel isn’t the only entry of the series to be released in the future in North America. The Legend Of Heroes Trails in the Sky Second Chapter was originally going to be released earlier this year in North America on PSP and Steam but issues during the localization process have prevented it from happening. Last month it’s also been confirmed that The Legend Of Heroes Trails in the Sky Second Chapter won’t be released before The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel as originally scheduled.
The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel will be released before the end of the year in North America on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. We will keep you updated on the game’s final release date as well as on the Trails in the Sky Second Chapter release date as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming role playing games developed by Falcom.
