Super Mario Maker is a game that rewards creativity and players all over the world have been trying to overcome some of the limitations of the game’s editor in a lot of interesting ways. To make an example, players have found ways to include checkpoints in their courses using the available objects before checkpoints have been introduced with the Super Mario Maker latest update. A few hours ago one Super Mario Maker player has discovered a very interesting trick which allows players to do something that’s not normally possible.
Reddit user bullfroggy has found a way to create double and triple firebars where each of the arms rotate around a single block, or rather appear to rotate around a single block. To accomplish this, bullfroggy used a stack of tracks.
“In order to accomplish this, simply make a stack of 2 or 3 single-segment tracks which each drop a fire bar onto yet another track segment. You can angle the bars how you see fit so the applications are quite limitless!”

The 1.20 update introduced event courses, which can reward players with new Mystery Mushroom costumes, as well as Checkpoint flags and more. Some additional features which haven’t been revealed before release have also been introduced by the update such as the ability to speed up the sequences happening at the beginning of the 100 Mario Challenge and between stages and more.
