Mortal Kombat X, the latest entry of the series developed by NetherRealm Studios, has been released earlier this year on consoles and PC and has managed to become quite successful thanks to its gameplay features, which are also getting expanded next year with a new Kombat Pack. If you’re among those who have yet to purchase the game and want to do so on PC in the near future, you may want to take advantage of a new deal which has surfaced online earlier today.
Online retailer Gamesplanet is currently offering the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition PC with a 75% off its full price. This special edition of the game includes the base game as well as the first Kombat Pack DLC featuring playable characters Jason Voorhees, Tanya, Predator and Tremor as well as skins for a lot of characters such as Kano, Lyu Kang, Scorpion and more. The deal might not be available for much longer so make sure to take advantage of it as soon as possible.
As mentioned above, Mortal Kombat X is going to be expanded later next year with a new Kombat Pack DLC. The Kombat Pack 2 will include new playable characters such as Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Xenomorph from the Alien Franchise, the drunken fist master Bo Rai Cho and the cyborg Tri-Borg, a combination of Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke. The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 2 will be released sometime during the first quarter of 2016.
Mortal Kombat X is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in all regions. The game was also going to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but the old gen release has eventually been cancelled, as the team developing this version of the game has been unable to develop a high quality product on older consoles.
