Today is finally the day, as Capybara Games oft-delayed BELOW is finally releasing for Xbox One and PC. While we got the news last week, interestingly enough the game’s price remained a secret until now. However, the price has now been revealed thanks to the game now being available on certain platforms.
The game is available to purchase now via the Microsoft Store, where it is revealed that the game’s price is $25. This was the range that many were estimating that the game would cost, with most speculation being in the $20-$30 range. There aren’t currently any reviews for the game, so it remains to be seen if the game has the content to justify the price.
The good news for those interested who maybe don’t want to pay full price is that the game is also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass. This service allows players access to over 100 Xbox games for $9.99 per month, which includes new first-party Xbox-exclusives. If you’ve never signed up for the service before, you can even get your first month for just $1.
Developer Capybara Games’ latest game is certainly a difficult game to describe, as it is a roguelike where players are tasked with exploring the depths of The Isle. What lies below are procedural subterranean labyrinths filled with wildlife and traps all while you’re being stalked by a “shadowy presence.” Much of what the game truly has in store for you is a mystery, and that is all part of the appeal.
BELOW is available today on Xbox One and PC.
