Reggie said on Fox Gamer“E3 is always a big time for Nintendo. We look at each E3 as a unique opportunity to tell our story. And we’re gonna have a big E3 this year. We’re going to be showcasing a variety of games. We will have experiences for consumers will be able to attend the show for the very first time. So I’m not gonna tell you all of the various games and all of our little secrets for E3, but I can tell you that E3 is going to be a major opportunity for us to showcase not only Nintendo Switch, but also content coming to Nintendo 3DS.”

He also talks about how he’s been playing games for the last 30 years and for him “it’s been a passion, amazing opportunity and a fabulous time working for Nintendo.”

Nintendo has been very creative in the past with their E3 presentations. In recent years they have been focusing on premade videos to show during E3 rather than keynotes like Sony and Microsoft. They seem to be spreading the word far better with the Switch apposed to Wii U. The Switch is breaking record sales for Nintendo in hardware and software sales.

Software lineup has always seemed kind of barren when it comes to the Switch. Besides Zelda being a launch title, the big hitter IPS seem to be far in the distance release wise. Splatoon 2 is slated for a summer release while Super Mario Odyssey is holiday. Hopefully having a bigger presence at E3 this year will allow them to fill the missing gaps of releases, answer the questions about Switch Online and update us on the status of Virtual Console.

Joe Rosa @Joerosa

I was born with bits in my blood. Rally racing getting my tires covered in blood. Started with a Nintendo Nes. I love all systems, can't choose which is the best. If you held a Zapper to my head, I'd just say Gamecube even though its dead. We went full circle from carts to blu rays right back to carts. Even had that debacle of are games art? I'm forever ready for my next adventure, now let's push start.
