Resident Evil 0 is one of the more unique Resident Evil games ever released, with some interesting gameplay features that set it apart from the rest of the series. With the game having been originally released as a GameCube exclusive, not many have had the pleasure to play it but things will change next year with the Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, which will be released on consoles and PC.
A few hours ago a new Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster Developer Diary video has surfaced online. The video features members of the team as they discuss their approach in creating the series’ design and more. You can check out the new Developer Diary video right below.
Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster isn’t going to be a simple HD remaster, as it will include features that are not available in the original release, such as the new Wesker Mode. In this mode, players will be able to play as the series’ villain who will come with some unique abilities that will spice up the experience considerably. It’s also been confirmed that two special outfits for Wesker and Rebecca will be available in this mode.
Resident Evil 0 has been released back in November 2002 exclusively on Nintendo GameCube. The game’s story follows police officer Rebecca Chambers as she investigates a series of murders together with convict Billy Coen. Resident Evil 0 comes with a unique partner system which allows players to switch between the two main characters to solve puzzle and proceed through the game.
Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster will be released next year on January 19th in North America and on January 22nd in Europe on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. More on the game will surely come in soon so stay tuned for all the latest news on Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster.
