Minecraft, the incredibly popular sandbox game created by Mojang, has been released on a variety of formats including Sony and Microsoft consoles. The popular game has never been released on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and it seemed like the only way for Nintendo fans to enjoy a Minecraft title in the future would be to get Minecraft Story Mode, the adventure game based on the Mojang title developed by Telltale Games. Something that has surfaced online today, however, seems to suggest that Minecraft is going to be released very soon on Wii U.
Earlier today a Minecraft Wii U Edition rating for Europe has surfaced online. According to the PEGI website, the Mojang developed game is going to be released today, November 12th. As the first Nintendo Direct since the E3 2015 is going to be aired exactly today, there’s a very good chance that the game will be officially revealed during it and then made available for purchase on the Wii U eShop.
The console editions of Minecraft are now available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and they’re always getting updated with new content. Last month the Xbox One version of the game has received a new update which added the Halloween 2015 Mash-up skin pack trial and content as well as the Star Wars Prequel Skin Pack trial content, allowing players to use skins in the game inspired by the Star Wars movies. Last, but not least, the latest Minecraft Xbox One update included the update for the Halo Mash-up.
Minecraft is now available on a variety of formats including PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and smartphones.
