Lenovo is not very famous for their smartphones, rather for their Lenovo Yoga convertible and hybrid tablet line-up. Nonetheless, the company is pretty good at making mid-range smartphones and the Lenovo K3 Note is a great example of their prowess in the industry. Besides being an up to date phablet with 4G LTE and good performance, the Lenovo K3 Note is also a very affordable phone which can easily rival with the likes of the Asus ZenFone 2.
Everbuying has a neat promotion for the Lenovo K3 Note, which means you can get this phone, through their epic mid-year sales for only $154, which is quite a nice price for a rather well-endowed smartphone. The main features of the Lenovo K3 Note include a massive 5.5-inch display with a 1920*7080 resolution display, an octa core 64 bit MediaTek MT6752 CPU, backed by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, as well as a 13 MP camera with flash on the rear and a 5 MP camera on the front. 4G LTE should not be forgotten, and neither should Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Lenovo K3 Note comes in a neat package, with a simple, yet elegant design that will suit most smartphone fans out there. You can pick between yellow and white when it comes to colors, but I would recommend the yellow because it does look fresh and perfect for the hot season of the year. The bezels of the device are rather thin, and while there’s some heavy Lenovo-branded skinning going on, you may find the experience to be rather pleasant. If not, you can always flash a custom ROM, although that will void your warranty. For the price, the Lenovo K3 Note does offer very decent bang for buck and it’s one of the best mid rangers of the year, right next to the Asus ZenFone 2 and Motorola Moto G 2014.
Although Lenovo and implicitly, the Lenovo K3 Note aren’t as famous as the Asus ZenFone 2, interest has grown and people are starting to notice the company on the smartphone market. Performance on the Lenovo K3 Note is exemplary, with the powerful processor handling everything that needs handling, no questions asked. You should hurry if you have your eyes on this beast, as Everbuying has a limited number of units available through their epic mid-year sales.
Since Chinese smartphone makers truly understand smartphone users, or at least the majority of them, they’ve included two SIM card slots in most of their releases, which is valid for the Lenovo K3 Note as well. A 3000 mAh battery tops it all off, and in our experience, although there’s a large screen involved, the Lenovo K3 Note coupled with its neat processor can handle moderate and heavy use pretty well. We got about two days of moderate use out of the device, but it does konk out by the end of the day when it comes to heavy use and a lot of 4G data consumption. Overall, the Lenovo K3 Note is a very well-balanced smartphone which offers quite a lot of bang for the buck and is undeniably a good purchase. No Superfish included.
