The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, the latest entry of the series developed by CD Projekt RED now available on consoles and PC, has been released only last week and it has managed to become incredibly successful on all formats, as the several issues found in all versions of the game haven’t stopped players from enjoying this massive role playing game.
CD Projekt RED isn’t a team that likes to rest on its laurels, though, and it’s been hard at work to address some issues found in all versions of the game. The PC version has already received two patches while another one is going to hit both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One soon.
Some new details on the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Xbox One version patch have emerged online today thanks to CD Projekt RED’s Marcin Mamot. It’s been confirmed today that the patch will include a 30 FPS lock for the Xbox One version of the game.
@stay_scialla The lock should be there in the upcoming patch.

Unlike the PlayStation 4 version of the game, the Xbox One release currently has unlocked framerate which leads to an uneven performance. Hopefully, the patch will improve the game’s performance on Xbox One and make the experience more enjoyable.
Earlier today, CD Projekt RED has revealed all the details on this week’s two The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt free DLC packs. The two packs will include an alternate look the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg and a new quest, Contract: Missing Miners, which will task players with finding disappeared miners from the small Skellige village. More free DLC packs will be coming for the game in next few weeks.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One new patch is currently in the certification phase and it will be released on a yet to be confirmed release date. We will let you know about the patch as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.
