Amiibo

Since the release of the first few amiibo figures, Nintendo has been trying to find new ways to offer new figures with unique gimmicks that will make new figures feel unique when compared to the more regular ones of the Super Smash Bros. line and other lines, like the Yoshi’s Wooly World amiibo figures. Even the Super Smash Bros. line will be getting some more unique amiibo in the future, such as the Mii Fighters and the Mr. Game & Watch figures.

The Mr. Game & Watch amiibo is definitely one of the more unique figures coming later this year, as it’s the only one featuring more than one pose. This amiibo has recently received a couple images and even an unboxing video recently, courtesy of Video Game Tidbits, showcasing its unique features. You can check out the images by going here and the unboxing video right below.

Last week it’s been revealed that limited restocks of the Jigglypuff amiibo will be coming to Target stores later this month. According to a reliable source, select stores will receive 4 figures for a total of 4.000 figures becoming available again. The news has yet to be confirmed officially but it certainly won’t hurt those who want to get the figure to check Target stores in their areas in the next few days.

Earlier this month we have reported that the Palutena amiibo wasn’t going to be a store exclusive release in the US, as the official amiibo website didn’t list any store exclusivity. Unfortunately this won’t be the case, as the Palutena amiibo is only going to be available on Amazon in the US.

The Mr. Game & Watch amiibo is going to be released sometime during September in all regions. We will keep you updated on this amiibo’s release date as soon as possible so stay tuned for all the latest news on Nintendo’s successful figures.

Diablo 4’s post-launch support will keep you playing for years, according to Blizzard. General manager Rod Fergusson confirmed two expansions and free content updates.

“As I sit here, we’re about to launch the main game; we’re finishing up season one; we’re working on season two; we’re working on expansion one; we’re kicking off expansion two,” he told PC Gamer on the Kinda Funny Xcast. These two DLCs may release sooner than expected. Fergusson says the live service model lets Blizzard release content faster than Diablo III.

With tens of hours of content in the base game, Diablo 4 is massive. This could be Destiny 2 or Genshin Impact, with seasons and DLC. That thought excites or frightens you. Leave a comment and check out our Diablo 4 guide for help with the PS5 and PS4 games.

Phantom Blade Zero, the next PS5 action game, may have improved. The developers’ Q/A Discord server revealed that the game won’t include microtransactions.

Each weapon has its own move set and combos to learn. Unsurprisingly, FromSoftware’s addictive (and innovative) gameplay style is an influence, but the goal is to be approachable. We like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Soulslike mechanics.

It’s rare to see combat like that, so it’s hard not to be impressed. However, how it works is unknown. Phantom Blade Zero: your thoughts?
