Since the release of Windows 10, Microsoft has had a lot of problems with its upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.x to Windows 10. We had a lot of gaming problems, driver problems and many more, I would know because I have experienced them all. Now, Dell’s and HP’s tech support representatives are strongly suggesting people not to upgrade their Windows to Windows 10 but in case you already did, you probably should just go back to your previous version of Windows.
As people started to upgrade to Windows 10 while encountering all bugs and problems the new software has, they started calling support representatives ask for advice. Apparently, Dell staff received “a ton of calls” and their advice was always the same, downgrade to your previous version of Windows.
The reason behind most of problems is that Microsoft’s software is relatively new and encounters problems with older versions of software that were not updated or even with older hardware. Tech support representatives say that the easiest solution is to go back to a version of software where users had no problems.
This is what happens when companies rush their products without proper testing, also it is something we encounter daily in the gaming industry. A lot of software as well as games get out of beta stages too soon and that results in lack of quality. Even though we all know how hard Microsoft is trying to remind its users to upgrade to their latest Windows version it doesn’t mean we should rush into updating our software when clearly they still have a lot of issues to fix.
