64px-Avatar_IconLevel 10: Just like everybody else in Heroes of the Storm, Muradin gets two heroic abilities at level 10, but unlike some heroes I will refrain from naming, both heroics are actually good in their own right. Since we can only choose one, we’ll have to go with Avatar here and leave Haymaker for some other build. Haymaker is great if you’re in need of some more damage, but Hammer Time tries to combine decent dps (of which you will have) with tankiness and you’ll definitely want Avatar for this. Avatar increases you health by quite a bit and it also gives your basic attacks the ability to stun targets. When combined with the talent we’ll be picking at level 16 and the upgrade at 24 Avatar will make Muradin nearly impossible to kill, provide of course you don’t go crazy and try to take the whole enemy team on by yourself.

64px-Thunderstrike_IconLevel 13: We’re again looking at multiple good options to choose from, with 4 out of 5 available talents potentially being very useful for Muradin. The first one is Burning Rage, which is rarely recommended on most heroes, but since you’ll be on the front line in every team fight, burning enemies for 10 damage per second may come in handy. You’ll also have an easier time pushing lanes if you pick Burning Rage. Next off, Healing Static is very situation since you’ll have to hit multiple opponents with your Thunderclap for the healing to be worth it. You’ll also want to pick Thunderburn if you really want to go down this path. Then, we have Rewind, a talent that’s sometimes useful, but not necessarily for Muradin if you ask me. Spell Shield is usually a no-no.

With that out of the way, Hammer Time doesn’t use any of those and instead we’ll be opting for Thunderstike at level 13. Thus far, we’ve been focusing on our Stormbolt so now it’s time to give Thunderclap some love as well. Thunderstrike will allow you do deal 300% more damage with your Thunderclap provided that you only hit one target with it. Naturally, this is a 1v1 focused talent, but one that shouldn’t be overlooked because despite the fact that you’ll be engaged in team fights most of the time, you’ll inevitably also come across situations where you have to fight someone 1v1. When such situations arise, being able to deal 300% more damage with your Thunderclap will definitely help you a lot. In addition, Thunderstrike also works on bosses, so between this and Sledgehammer you’ll be a lean mean boss killing machine.

Stoneform_IconLevel 16: This is where I was the most undecided when I first started playing Muradin since none of the talents at level 16 seem to be all that epic when you first read their descriptions. However, looks can be deceiving and I soon found out that Stoneform is an incredible upgrade to your Trait. This talent allows you to activate Second Wind whenever you’re in need of some healing and you’ll need it pretty often since taking a beating so that others don’t have to is Muradin’s main purpose in Heroes of the Storm. Second Wind requires you to be out of combat for the healing to activate, but with Stoneform you can get healed (albeit over time) while still putting the hurt on the enemy team. Alternatively, Imposing Presence and Heavy Impact are better for team fights, while Dwarf Launch will give you some extra mobility and Executioner grants extra damage against disabled targets. Still, I feel like Stoneform is the best talent to take at this level despite some of the other good options.

64px-Avatar_IconLevel 20: Last but not least, the final talent you’ll want to take if you try out Hammer Time will be Unstoppable Force. Doing so will increase the duration of Avatar by 30% and reduce the duration of disables by 75%. Not too shabby. The bonuses are not exactly crazy good, but there are really no other good alternatives I’m afraid. Grand Slam will be unavailable since we didn’t pick Haymaker at level 1, and Fury of the Storm gives you some pretty weak AoE that will be almost useless to Muradin in the late game. The last option is Resurgence of the Storm, which might come in handy if you know for certain that you’re going to die a lot and have to respawn quickly. However, at this stage of the game you shouldn’t be dying at all if you use the Hammer Time build, which is why you won’t even be using Resurgence of the Storm. In short, Unstoppable Force is your only reasonable option here.

And that about wraps it up. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this build or if you want to share your own Muradin build make sure to let us all about it in the comments section below. Also, if you liked this build, check out the ones we have for Zeratul and Raynor and stay tuned for more.

Ubisoft says that future Assassin’s Creed games will need more time to be made

As Assassin’s Creed Shadows is about to sneak up on people in November, Ubisoft says that the time between developing games needs to be longer to find the “right balance.” Shadows has been in development for four years, longer than any other game in the series up to this point. That includes the huge open-world epics Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Shadows lead producer Karl Onnée (thanks, GamesIndustry.biz) says that the latest AC game took 25% longer to make than Valhalla. He says this is necessary to keep the quality of the series that it is known for: “It’s always a balance between time and costs, but the more time you have, the more you can iterate.” You can speed up a project by adding more people to it, but that doesn’t give you more time to make changes.

Onnée says this has as much to do with immersion and aesthetics as it does with fixing bugs and smoothing out pixels. This is because the development team needs time to learn about each new historical setting: “We are trying to make a game that is as real as possible.” We’re proud of it, and the process took a long time. In feudal Japan, building a house is very different from building a house in France or England in the Middle Ages. As an artist, you need to learn where to put things in a feudal Japanese home. For example, food might not belong there. Get all the information you need and learn it. That process takes a long time.”

You’ll have to wait a little longer for Ubisoft to work on each game. Are you okay with that? In what part of Shadows are you now? Is it interesting to you? Leave a comment below and let us know.

You can now pre-order Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, a remaster that Dragami Games and Capcom both created. You can now pre-order the PS5 game on the PS Store for $44.99 or £39.99. If you have PS Plus, you can get an extra 10% off the price.

The company put out a new trailer with about three minutes of gameplay to mark the start of the pre-order period. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a remaster of Grasshopper Manufacture’s crazy action game from 2012. You play as Juliet, a high school student who fights off waves of zombies.

The remaster adds RePOP mode, an alternative mode that swaps out the blood and gore for fun visual effects. It also adds a bunch of other features and improvements that make the game better overall. You can expect the graphics and sound to be better as well.

The game will now come out on September 12, 2024, instead of September 12, 2024. Are you excited to get back to this? Please cheer us on in the section below.

This Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 zombies trailer is way too expensive

Is there really anyone who is following the story of Call of Duty’s zombie mode? We’ve known about the story in a vague way for a while, but we couldn’t tell you anything about it. It looks like the “Dark Aether” story will continue in Black Ops 6, but we don’t really know what that means.

For those of you who care, here is the official blurb with some background: “Requiem, led by the CIA, finally closed the last-dimensional portal, sending its inhabitants back to the nightmare world known as the Dark Aether, after two years of fighting zombie outbreaks around the world during the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War timeline.”

Wait, there’s more! “Agent Samantha Maxis gave her life to seal this weird dimension from the inside out.” Even worse things were to come: senior staff members of Requiem were arrested without a reason by the Project Director, who turned out to be Edward Richtofen.

Black Ops 6 will take place about five years later, and it looks like it will show more about Richtofen’s goals and motivations. The most important thing is that you will probably be shooting an unimaginable number of zombies in the head. This week, on August 8, there will be a full reveal of the gameplay, so keep an eye out for that.
