Ever got that anxious feeling when you can’t recognize a song and afterwards you can’t get that thing out of your head? You may have activated Shazam way too late and it couldn’t recognize the song which will remain stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Now, all that is gone because Shazam updated their software and you will have a result faster than ever before so that annoying thought won’t get stuck in your head.
Shazam is all about music and by today’s upgrade they proved where their focus is directed. “We’re always trying to improve the Shazam experience, both on the front-end and the back-end, but this update represents the biggest-to-date changes to our core algorithm.” said Rich Riley, the CEO of Shazam Entertainment.
Another feature that has been rolled out with this new update is the Search feature, which until today was not a go-to thing for Shazam users, mostly because it was not on the front page. Now the Search feature will be on the home page so that people can search artists, songs, lyrics and so on or even links to download music videos.
All in all, ever since it was developed in 2002, Shazam has come a far way and improved as much as it can. Even more it recently added more the 600 Verified Artists so users can get a full insight on their favorite artists work or even encounter new musicians by randomly passing by a place that streams a song you’ve never heard before, but has caught your attention.
