Fire Emblem Fates, the latest entry of the Fire Emblem series released in Japan as Fire Emblem If, has been released last week in Japan and has managed to become incredibly successful in just one week of availability, according to the latest Media Create sales chart.
Last week’s chart confirms that the two different versions of Fire Emblem Fates, White Kingdom and Black Kingdom, have sold 260,675 copies in just one week, landing on the first place This excellent result is made even better by the sales of the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition, including both story paths, which has sold 42.991 units, bringing the total Fire Emblem Fates sales to over 300.000 units.
Other new releases have also managed to enter the chart on high positions but failed to sell as nicely as Fire Emblem Fates. Persona 4: Dancing All Night, the rhythm game based on Persona 4, has landed on the second place with a little over 94.000 units, decent sales for a PlayStation Vita exclusive game.
Yesterday we have reported that this week’s issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu is going to feature a new Fire Emblem Fates coverage, giving more details on how the My Castle and Marriage mechanics work as well some tips and strategies that will help players make the most out of them.
