Huawei P8 has a whole new concept design, compared to its predecessor, Huawei P7. Its design is original, unique, although there are some influences from the iPhone 6 or Sony Experia Z3. It became practically a sleek metal smartphone, one with its own personality.
Having a full metal body, with a thickness of 6.4 mm, similar to an iPhone 6 or HTC One M9, it proves that the Huawei P8 design reached a sophisticated level. Still, it is a fully functional and fashionable talking tool. Its newer IPS Neo 5.2 inch display is supposed to consume less power than the usual IPS displays, which might end up being a bonus feature for the phone. The Huawei P8 camera was upgraded to a 4 color 13 MP RGBW which is an improved sensor that couldn’t be found on any smartphone until now. An excellent zoom, DSLR ISP level features, increasing details and fast face detection and optimizations are all great technical features that come for those who love to take photos. This camera, much like the iPhone 6 camera, has the ability of combining 4 different frames which also have different settings, in order to realize high quality photos, in conditions of high contrast.
Huawei P8 Max is the bigger version of this smartphone that can compete not only with iPhone 6 Plus but with the Motorola Nexus 6 as well. The 6.8 inch QHD display and high color saturation are key elements of this bigger smartphone version.
Regarding the Huawei P8 price, it is $500 unlocked while for the Max version the price reaches $650. The Huawei P8 also has either 16 GB or 64 GB internal memory, with a cost of $600 for the latter one, while the Huawei P8 Max comes only with 64 GB internal memory. These beautiful products are available now only in Europe and Asia and only after one month they will be available throughout the world.
Until now, people regarded the iPhone 6 design as top-notch when it comes to the smartphone industry, but the Chinese Huawei seems to have taken smartphone design a step further. The superior materials that Huawei used in the Huawei P8 design make this smartphone as much eye-candy as the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Clearly, Huawei wanted to take on Apple with the new line-up and it looks like they have a pretty good shot at becoming even more popular in the U.S. Huawei did say previously that they want to grow their popularity on a global level and the Huwaei P8 design elements certainly help the company progress towards that goal. Although the iPhone 6 design is still considered to be better than the Huawei P8 design, the upcoming reviews and hands-on videos have a good chance to change that opinion.
