Forge beta information is shared by the Halo Infinite developers ahead of tomorrow’s release

Before tomorrow’s release, further details have been revealed about the Forge beta in Halo Infinite.
As part of a larger Winter Update for Halo Infinite, which also includes new maps, modes, balancing adjustments, matchmaking upgrades, and a new Battle Pass, the eagerly anticipated mode will be launched to the game on November 8.
However, many Halo fans will be anticipating the inclusion of Forge mode, and a new blog post by 343 Industries provides further details on how it will be handled.
Most importantly, the site notes that even while Forge is released in a “beta” version, it is a perpetual free upgrade to the game and neither it nor any content produced during the test phase will be deleted.
It was originally intended for players to reorganize the placement of elements in already-existing maps when the Forge mode was first introduced in Halo 3.
The mode has developed into a complete map editor over time, and 343 says that the Halo Infinite version will have the greatest features yet. Players will be able to scale items, construct AI bots and script them, and use new lighting and audio tools.
Up to eight people will be able to play Forge together, though the blog post also mentions that due to a last-minute issue, everyone must begin playing at once. Players will be able to leave a session in the middle thanks to a patch that 343 is currently working on.
Additionally, 343 will be integrating community maps into matchmaking, but it should be noted that this “will take some time” as it first requires the community to produce high-quality content that must then be tested by 343 who will collaborate with the author to ensure it complies with their standards.
According to the statement, “We see a lot of promise in allowing players to create experiences that lean into the cooperative/PVE realm.” it also mentions that it’s investigating the idea of introducing campaign AI to Forge mode.
But it doesn’t seem like this will happen anytime soon. According to 343: “We’re not making any announcements today and this is long lead work, but it’s clearly a chance we’re interested in and eager to pursue.”
Affinity, a prolific Texas-based support studio, revealed in September that it is in charge of developing “something large and unique for the brand.”
According to CEO Max Hoberman, “We’re developing something unannounced, and we’re conducting lead development on that unannounced product, from conception and design.” “It’s a significant, novel development for the franchise. But I’m at a loss for words at this point.
“Out of our three ongoing projects, that is the one with the biggest budget. Nearly 100 developers are engaged in that project.

Want Diablo 4 immortality? Hardcore Level 100 Before Most Others

The devilish launch of Diablo 4 is days away (less for Ultimate Edition buyers). Blizzard has promised the ultimate reward for the first 1000 players to accomplish level 100 on Hardcore Mode: a statue of in-game antagonist Lillith.
Think you can cheat death?
Reach level 100 on hardcore mode and tweet #Diablo4Hardcore with proof to have your username immortalized on a statue of Lilith.
Offer limited to first 1000, restrictions apply: https://t.co/TLWxZwG0aQ
Get started June 1st. pic.twitter.com/pvVLZNPgx8

Diablo 4’s Hardcore Mode is a character-creation-only difficulty adjuster. It automatically deletes characters when they die, making things infinitely harder regardless of World Tier. But 100? That’s several playthroughs on increasingly difficult World Tiers with new adversaries in harsher setups and about 150 hours of flawlessly rapid gameplay.
Honoring the dying.
Being remembered with those brave souls lost on the journey is the ultimate gamer boast. Do you dare?

Layers of Fear PS5, PS4 Trophy List Promises a Spooky Platinum

Bloober Team’s survival horror game Layers of Fear is terrifying. The Trophy List on Exophase just appeared, and players will have to go crazy to obtain Platinum.
With a Silver Trophy like “a new way” requiring players to “live through the third conversation” (and a few of Bronzes for surviving the previous two) and another called “face your fears” appearing when you “see your enemy and fail”, we might chase this one with the lights on.
Do you like Layers of Fear’s whole trophy list? Do you want the Plat?
