To say that people have been struck with a lot of Natural Disasters recently would be an understatement. Earthquakes destroying huge portions of Mexico while Hurricanes interrupted people’s lifestyle in the US. Various zones across the world have been affected by these disasters and a lot of efforts have been done to help with the relief.

One of the biggest examples is that of the Speedrunning community. Which made a charity drive to help the people affected by Hurricane Harvey. However, a new effort joins the ranks of the helpers as 343 steps out to help with the relief efforts.

The company responsible for the latest in the Halo franchise to help affected people across various countries. “Like countless others, many of us here at 343 have been impacted in a variety of ways by the seemingly unending string of challenges reality has thrown humanity’s way recently.” Said 343 in a blog post.  “From the Gulf Coast to Puerto Rico, from hurricanes to earthquakes to wildfires, there’s been no shortage of unbelievable hardship suffered by folks from all walks.”

The company trusts the Halo community to help with the efforts to help the affected. “With that in mind, this morning we launched the Relief & Recovery REQ Pack.” The blog post also adds that “the proceeds from which will go to GlobalGiving in effort to aid those still in desperate need of some assistance and respite.”

This means that people affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Maria and the Earthquakes in Mexico will be helped. “The Relief & Recovery REQ Pack will receive five permanent REQs selected from the most popular visual customization REQs of ultra-rare or better rarity, if available, as well as ten rare or better boost cards.”

The pack will cost $9.99 USD and it’s going to be available from October 12 to 23. The pack will also be available in the Xbox LIVE Store and the in-game REQ store.

Friday the 13th The Game’s license expires on December 31, a Sunday. The game will no longer be sold physically or digitally after that date.

Players who buy the game before the deadline can play for another year, with game servers running until at least Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

The PS4 game was released in 2017 on a Friday, but not the 13th. We imagine the hardcore have had their fill by now. If not, a year should be enough to finish up.

Remnant II is the more streamlined sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes, a good third-person cooperative cover shooter that used Soulslike elements in a novel way. Any good sequel builds on that foundation and creates something new. Keigh-3 (Summer Game Fest) revealed a tantalizing gameplay trailer for the game.

Remnant II’s Handler Archetype, a pet class with guns and good boys, has caught our attention as development continues. The Gunslinger Archetype offers six-shooter DPS for purists. On July 25, PS5 gamers can find a more intense cooperative experience.
