Fire Emblem Fates has yet to be released in North America and Europe and we don’t even know precisely when the wait for the next entry of the Fire Emblem series will end. Japanese players, however, have been able to enjoy the game since late June. Many have played and completed all the three story paths of the game and have uncovered pretty much every secret of the game.
Earlier today the Japanese magazine Famitsu has launched a new Fire Emblem Fates online survey. The survey includes 19 questions asking players why they have purchased the game, which story path they played first, which Fire Emblem game they have played before Fire Emblem Fates and more. The survey is only available in Japanese for obvious reasons but the question are easy to understand when translated with an online translator. The results from the survey will eventually be published on a future issue of the magazine.
Just like other recent Nintendo published games, Fire Emblem Fates comes with amiibo support. Players are able to use the Marth, Ike, Lucina and Robin figures to summon the corresponding character. Two of the amiibo events starring Lucina and Ike have been translated into English and the translation for the other two events will be coming soon.
Fire Emblem Fates has already received a couple DLC packs in the past few weeks. Earlier last month the Fire Emblem Fates third story path called Invisible Kingdom has been made available on the Japanese eShop. Some DLC maps have also been made available, with one of these maps featuring characters from Fire Emblem Awakening.
Fire Emblem Fates is going to be released sometime next year in North America and Europe exclusively on Nintendo 3DS as two different versions, which include a different story path with different enemies, maps, characters and more. More on the Western version of the game will surely be coming soon so stay tuned for all the latest news on the new entry of the successful Fire Emblem series.
