Ahead of the release of Catherine: Full Body releasing next month, PC owners now have the opportunity to play through the original Catherine release as it’s now available on Steam.
Sega announced the morally challenging, romantically engaging puzzle game launch on the PC as the Full Body re-release sets up to head over to the PS4 and Vita.
Take control of Vincent, the nightmare plagued, romance confused protagonist who spends his time drinking, conversing with his buddies and dodging the fellow sheep trapped in a devastating, puzzling nightmare. Players will face plenty of twists and commitment issues as they play through the story in order to discover which woman he chooses to be with — his long-term partner Katherine, or the young blonde mistress, Catherine.
The 2011 intimate adventure game received praise for its riveting plot line and morally charged decision making, while the puzzle solving aspect was noted for holding the game back. Nonetheless, the game gathered a cult following which lead to the expansive re-release of Catherine: Full Body.
Pick up Catherine Classic on Steam for $19.99, while Catherine: Full Body is set to release on the PS4 and PS Vita on February 14, 2019 — Valentine’s Day.
