Batman Arkham Knight, the new entry of the Arkham series created by Rocksteady, is going to receive several DLC packs after release, like all the previous entries of the series. Thankfully, those who are going to get all of them will have a way to do so while spending less, as revealed by the publisher earlier today.
Warner Bros. has confirmed that Batman Arkham Knight will receive a Season Pass, which will allow players to purchase all the upcoming DLC packs for the game in advance and spend a little less than purchasing them separately. The DLC packs have yet to be detailed in full but it’s been confirmed that they will include new story missions, additional villains, Batmobile and character skins, advanced Challenge Maps and new race tracks. These DLC will be released for six months following the game’s launch.
Warner Bros. has also revealed today that Batman Arkham Knight will receive a Premium Edition which will include the game and the Season Pass. The Season Pass by itself will cost $39.99 while the Premium Edition $99.99.
A new Batman Arkham Knight trailer has been made available only yesterday, revealing a brand new gameplay feature that’s never been seen before in the series. The trailer showcased the Dual Play feature, which allows players to seamlessly switch between Batman and his allies, a feature that will expand the already engaging combat system of the series.
Even though the Dual Play feature has only been revealed yesterday, many were speculating that Batman Arkham Knight was going to receive a similar feature. The game’s Official Website was updated last week with a Persons of Interest section which included trailers for some of the allies of the Dark Knight such as Robin, Catwoman and Nightwing.
Batman Arkham Knight will be released on June 23rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The PC hardware requirements have been made available online a few days ago so make sure to check them out if you’re planning to play the game on PC.
