A week has already passed since Star Wars Battlefront has been released and interesting opinions about the game as well as changes are already arriving. While some people are saying that Star Wars: Battlefront is a “Piece of Sh*t”, of course I’m talking about Breaking Benjamin’s lead singer, Benjamin Burnley who was asked to say that he likes Star Wars Battlefront, EA is hoping to expand their players data base with a new game mode.
This DLC of Star Wars Battlefront: ‘Battle of Jakku’ will have a new mode and it is going to be called ‘Turning Point’ and it will consist in 40-players who are going to need to capture one of three control points with a time limit, of course. After they’ve controlled one of the three control points, the Rebels are going to assault and capture the Imperial Base.
The short teaser we get to see this month, showed the Battle of Jakku as being chaotic, messy, and EA is saying that they are going for that. “We wanted to portray a battle completely surrounding you, in every direction. Debris is falling from the sky, telling the story of battles above. On the surface of the planet you can see ground troops as well as X-wings, all taking part of the fight.” said Anton Grandert, DICE Concept Artist.
EA Studios executive vice president Patrick Söderlund, has officially announced that the free DLC pack of Battle of Jakku will be launched in about two weeks and it will also add two new maps. The new addition to the game is going to be close to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie release, so it should attract more fans and maybe change some opinions about the game.
