The Hitman series is returning later this year, and Warner Bros. Interactive and IO Interactive have been releasing new details on the game lately. Now they’ve released a new trailer for the game, and this one is all about showing you the tools of the trade. You can check the video out for yourself at the bottom of this post.
The following is an overview from the publisher:
“In Hitman 2, the path to eliminating a target is scattered with different tools to get the job done efficiently. Whether it’s remote exploding cellphones, audio distractions, proximity tasers, disposable scramblers or strategic use of mirrors, a player’s proficiency will determine whether Agent 47 makes it to the finish line in one piece.”
Hitman 2 is set to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 13. While the game is a direct continuation of the 2016 Hitman, the game is scrapping the episodic formula entirely. Square Enix was on publishing duties for the last game, but a buyout resulted in IO Interactive gaining full rights to the series and gaining them much more control. This seems to be a big reason why the next game won’t be episodic, as it seems to have been a move that was more Square Enix’s idea.
