3 Best Switch Games Coming In June 2019

3 Best Switch Games Coming In June 2019

May 30, 2019

While the Nintendo Switch hasn’t exactly been on fire lately when it comes to new releases, it’s still managed to regularly add worthwhile new games to its lineup. Things will definitely be heating up as we head into the second half of 2019, but for now here are a few games that will likely be worth checking out next month (in order of release date).

Crash Team Racing Switch

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled

First up we have a complete remake of the classic racer originally from Naughty Dog. Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled lovingly recreates all aspects of the original PS1 game in a similar way that Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy did. The Mario Kart crown for top kart racer is rarely challenged (and the recent Team Sonic Racing didn’t put up as much of a fight as some hoped it would), but expect this one to take a shot at the crown on June 21st.

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Next we have a game that has been in development for several years now with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The game was brought to life thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, and now 4 years later it will finally release. Early buzz from the game has been mostly positive, and the developer even recently revamped the game’s visuals to make it look a lot better. Expect to get a Castlevania-like fix on June 25th.

Super Mario Maker 2 Switch

Super Mario Maker 2

Finally we have the lone Switch-exclusive of the list, which is Super Mario Maker 2. The release of the first game was one that was unexpected when it launched on Wii U, but the results were nothing short of fantastic. The game allowed players to create their own Mario levels and play the creations of others, which made it basically infinitely replayable. However, the sequel is looking to build on that foundation with even more bells and whistles to play around with, which means Switch owners will have plenty to do for quite some time. Expect to get your creative juices flowing on June 28th.

And that wraps up our small list of games to look forward to that are coming to Switch in June 2019. There may not be a ton of games here, but there’s a good chance that each one of them will be well worth checking out.
