If you are already bored of Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, although it is one of the best smartphones developed in 2015, you should be pleased to know that Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are already being tested by AT&T according to @evleaks.
Unfortunately he didn’t reveal any of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge specifications, so all we know by now remain rumors. Samsung may announce their next smartphones on 21 February just before the Mobile World Congress which will start on 22 February and it will last until 25 February, but some people still believe that the new Samsung Galaxy series will be announced in January.
However, people say that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be built in different models with three possible chipsets: their own Exynos 8890, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 and MediaTek’s Helio X20, for each model to appeal more in particular parts of the world. I personally find this particular rumor unlikely. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to have at least 3 GB RAM and a 5.2″ display as for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, speculations say it will have a dual edge curved display of 5.7″ or 5.8″ running with 4GB RAM.
Other rumors say that by the beginning of the next year, there will be a third Samsung model revealed, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Premium Edition, which will be powered by an upgraded Exynos 8890 processor combined with Mali T880 graphics. As no actual information was revealed about the new series of Samsung Galaxy S7, we can only wait for more leaks and official details.
